Small Wild Cats of Eurasia in the News ~ Jul to Dec 2024 (updated Dec 5)

The supercontinent Eurasia comprises the continents of Europe and Asia

There are 24 species of wild cats on the supercontinent of Eurasia of which 5 are considered big cats (4 Panthera species and the Cheetah), leaving 19 small wild cats. 4 of these smaller cats also occur in Africa, 1 species occurs across Europe and Asia, 2 occur only in Europe and the remaining 12 occur only in Asia.
